Terms of Service

Your agreement with Alexander Aramyan for using Monica on Telegram. Plain language where we can; binding where it matters.

Who you are contracting with

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Monica, a conversational AI service operated by Alexander Aramyan under the brand The Monica Studios ("we", "us", "our").

By opening a chat with Monica on Telegram or using any related service we provide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Monica is (and is not)

Monica is a Telegram-based AI you can talk with about your work, your day, wins, setbacks — whatever you want to share. She listens, asks follow-up questions, shares her opinion, and discusses it with you. Together you can turn that conversation into LinkedIn content: posts, profile lines, replies.

Monica is not a ghostwriter on autopilot. She is not a content calendar, a scheduling tool, or a substitute for your judgment. Today you copy finished drafts into LinkedIn yourself; posting directly from the chat is coming soon.

Monica may send follow-up messages in Telegram later, to pick up a thread or start a new discussion. You can ignore them or reply when you are ready.

Early access, changes, and possible pricing

Monica is currently offered as free early access. We may change features, pause the service, introduce limits, or start charging at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes, but we are not obliged to maintain any particular feature or price.

Early access means things can break, change, or disappear. Use Monica with that expectation.

Your content and the drafts

You retain ownership of the text, ideas, and materials you send Monica, and of the drafts you walk away with, to the extent permitted by law.

You grant us a limited license to process your messages so we can run the service: read them, generate replies, store them as described in the Privacy section, and improve reliability and safety. We do not claim ownership of your finished posts.

AI-generated wording may be similar to output given to other users. Monica refines language; she does not guarantee originality in every phrase.

You decide what to post

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to publish any content on LinkedIn or anywhere else.

Verify facts, job titles, metrics, credentials, and endorsements before you post. Comply with LinkedIn's terms, community policies, and applicable law. We are not responsible for what you publish or any consequences that follow.

Telegram is a third party

Monica runs inside Telegram. Telegram is operated by a third party; we do not control Telegram's app, servers, outages, or policies.

Your use of Telegram is subject to Telegram's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Telegram's handling of your data outside what our service directly processes.

Privacy of chats

While you are actively chatting, your messages are available to run the conversation. For two hours after your last message, the chat remains in an active form. After that, the conversation is compressed in a specific way, encrypted, and stored so the service can continue to work and improve.

Drafts are ordinary messages and follow the same rules. We do not sell your chat text. We use it to operate Monica, keep the service secure, and fix problems.

There is no delete button in the chat yet. To request removal of stored chats or your account, email alex@themonica.studio. In-app deletion is coming later.

Do not send passwords, financial details, government IDs, or other highly sensitive information unless you accept the risk of storing it as described above.

Acceptable use

You may not use Monica to generate or spread unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, discriminatory, or infringing content; to impersonate others; to scrape or reverse-engineer the service; or to abuse, overload, or circumvent technical limits.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the service or others.

No professional advice, no outcome guarantee

Monica provides writing and conversation assistance only. She does not give legal, tax, employment, HR, medical, or investment advice.

We do not guarantee inbound messages, job offers, recruiter contact, impressions, engagement, or any particular result from using Monica or posting on LinkedIn. Consistency may improve your odds; nothing is promised.

Availability, suspension, and ending use

We aim to keep Monica available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, third-party failures (including Telegram), and force majeure may interrupt the service.

You may stop using Monica at any time by leaving the chat. We may suspend or discontinue the service or your access with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Monica and related services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexander Aramyan and The Monica Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Monica.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Monica in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you have not paid anything.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Armenia, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Monica after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

For material changes, we may also post a notice in Telegram or on this site.
